Hitomi’s MasterClass Series, Volume One: STRUCTURES
Go beyond learning the technique. Explore the thinking, process, and creative development behind the work. Throughout her career, structures have played an integral role in Hitomi’s development as a floral designer, educator, and artist. They have provided a way to explore mechanics, redefine form, work with unexpected materials, and create new possibilities for how flowers and botanical materials can be presented. Over six months, students will explore structure-building through a combination of detailed technical instruction, creative projects, conversations, live learning, group discussion, and personal mentorship with Hitomi.
